Recipe Review

Whoa - what a way to sexy up vanilla! Hardly a recipe, but genius none-the-less. Vanilla ice cream receives a drizzle of olive oil, a generous dose of lemon zest, and a sprinkling of flaky sea salt.

I was skeptical, but it tasted so unlike vanilla ice cream. It was amazing.

And I had almost forgotten about it! I'm trying to slim down a bit - not a good match to ice cream or all the delicious recipes I want to try. But when I reach my goal, this might be at the top of the list!
If you look at the comments associated with this recipe on TheKitchn, I liked someone suggestion that bourbon on vanilla ice cream is also great.

Well ... I could not wait. Soupereasy and I followed up our weekly cooking lunch today with this and we were both amazed by how good it was and how pretty to look at!
