This is an odd dish - not as good as coconut rice pudding I've had at thai restaurants. I soaked my rice overnight, and found the timing for cooking to be perfect. The 1/2 tsp salt was a little too much for our taste, and the sugar (4T) very skimpy....

Good (mild) flavor, with excellent texture and very healthy. I didn't have quite as much quinoa as the recipe called for, yet my dish had at least twice as much as the version in the blog's photograph. No fresh sugarsnap peas, so I substituted frozen....

Southeast Asian Canned Salmon & Rice Cakes with Sriracha Mayo reviewed by kfranzetta

I also had a very difficult time getting these to hold together, even after allowing for a good deal of time for the mixture to chill in the refrigerator. If I were to make these again, I would add additional moisture, perhaps mayonnaise, and some breadcrumbs...
