You have me craving a lemon dessert with all of your lemony reviews!
My favourite lemon bar recipe, which I've been using for years, also doesn't call for butter in the lemon topping but I've noticed a trend in some of the newer baking books - Flour, Baked New Frontiers - of using lemon curd made with butter as the topping. I find that butter tempers the tartness....I like the tartness!
