These turned out really well. I followed the modification with the longer cooking time at lower heat (200 degrees F for 90 minutes). They turned out chewy, maintained their shape and didn't crack.

My meringues started out big and fluffy right out of the oven, but they very quickly started to collapse. I've read that humidity can do that...and yes, it's pretty humid here. These still taste wonderful though! They just don't look as nice they could. These cookies were also super easy!
