My 15 year old son was telling me that he'd never had a Twinkie and would never have the opportunity. I bet he'd love something like this.

I'm sure he would enjoy this!
I've added a link to the cake recipe but I remember making a King Arthur Flour recipe for cupcakes that approximated a twinkie as well (or so I'm told and keep in mind that Canadian twinkies are apparently different from their US counterpart!).....the cake was more of a sponge cake and the filling was silkier and less sweet. here's the link to that recipe.
