Very nice weeknight soup -- can be ready in an hour. The spice is curry and it's very tasty. Could be an excellent choice to fill a thermos when you are planning to spend a cool autumn afternoon or evening sitting in the stands watching a football game.

Served with cheddar biscotti from the New York Times and they went well together.
