A nice straightforward, substantial soup. It was a little on the bland side at first but that was due to my tomatoes not being the best - I had to give them a boost with some tomato paste.

More a good idea than a recipe. But a very good idea it is, as the flavors complement each other wonderfully. Also works with rosé wine.
