Really delicious cake. Only used 2 apples of medium size. Used full amount of spice and added extra cardamom extract to the dough. Used one egg (from my sister's chicks) and one flax egg. Will make again. Took to a gathering and everyone loved it.

This cake is excellent and so easy to make. The recipe uses blackberries, which are great, but I’ve also made it with raspberries, blueberries, or small plums. Frozen fruit is fine for this cake.
