These cookies deserve 5 stars just for the name. But, happily, they are really good. Because I like my cookies spicy, I do up the quantities of the cloves and ginger and nutmeg. Otherwise I bake them as written and they always disappear--a true "no-tears"...

Sweet Potato Pound Cake with Peach Glaze reviewed by southerncooker

I had the pleasure of trying this cake at Dori Sanders talk at our local library. One of the local restaurants made several of the recipes from Dori's cookbook. It was delicious. I plan on making one of my own.
