From: Smitten Kitchen (reviewed 26th April 2011)I love these cookies. We call them contention cookies at our house rather than world peace cookies, because there has been fighting over who gets the last one.
The description for this recipe was beyond glowing, billed as the vegetarian triumph over carbonara. Hardly. This was so awful we couldn't it it, so spicy we couldn't take it. There is no subtly in this recipe. Only raw garlic on noodles. Not for me.
I agree. The meatballs are some of the best I've ever had and certainly the best I've ever made. I have had great success with frying them as well as baking them. Baking is so much easier and less time consuming. My family loves this.
From: Smitten Kitchen (reviewed 26th April 2011)This is the best tutorial I've seen for fast, flawless eggs. As much as I love chives, I usually prefer this with fresh thyme or tarragon or sometimes smoked paprika.
My favorite chocolate chip cookies of all time. Tracking down mesquite flour is not simple- you probably have to order it- nut without it this cookie just isn't the same. Amazing.
From: Smitten Kitchen (reviewed 26th April 2011)I adore this focaccia. I have served it to rave review so many times. I love this as part of a cheese course. The concord grapes are nice, but when I can't get them I have subbed other good quality grapes or jumbo mixed raisins.
From: Smitten Kitchen (reviewed 26th April 2011)A really easy and delicious meal. Everyone at my house loves this. Homemade black beans though make this MUCH better than canned.
From: Smitten Kitchen (reviewed 26th April 2011)I love this. It think it is a bit sweet and I dial back the sugar a bit. Plain yogurt is an essential condiment. This also freezes well.
From: Smitten Kitchen (reviewed 26th April 2011)This is my favorite thing to do with rhubarb. I adore this cake and am asked for the recipe every time I serve it. I've had friends tell me this cake has haunted their dreams and forced them to visit again with the hopes I would make it again. I love, love this cake and think it makes an over the top breakfast or brunch or a delicious cake I would serve anytime. Totally worth the effort.
The best beef stroganoff I've ever had or made. The flavors will have you forget any imitation you've had in the past and never look back.
From: Smitten Kitchen (reviewed 26th April 2011)Love these chips. This is my family's favorite way to eat kale. I do go a bit light-handed on the oil recommendation though.
