| From: Cooking Light (reviewed 1st July 2012)Easy, delicious and perfect for a hot summer day since you only have to use the broiler for a few minutes and you're ready to eat. We had these for breakfast but I think they would also make a great lunch or light supper with the addition of some fresh fruit. I used sour dough bread instead of the multi grain since I found out recently I have gout and have to limit my whole grains. Gruyere was about $10 when I went on my shopping trip so I opted for some really good Swiss at $4. I will be making these again. |
| From: Cooking Light (reviewed 1st July 2012)The pimento cheese in this has a mixture of Reduced fat sharp cheddar and Parmesan which was delicious. I also liked the addition of arugula instead of lettuce on this one. One slice of bacon per sandwich sounded a bit skimpy but it was perfect. I also like that it is served on sourdough bread. |
