Feast: Food That Celebrates Life

This cake was excellent. It got rave reviews from everyone. Possibly one of the best chocolate cakes I've ever made. And I've made a lot.

I did the brine, and felt like it was a lot of work without a lot of flavor pay off. The turkey cooked up fine, but all those extra spices didn't really impart a flavor beyond a typical salt-brine. I would save the work for the gravy and stuffing.
