These were nice, but as pancakes rather than crêpes; making them as crêpes didn't really add anything noteworthy. We had these for breakfast, without the brambles (or, gasp, the ice cream).

In a way, this dish was like a Coq au Vin (flambé a chicken, or at least a lot of chicken meat, in one type of alcohol, braise in another), but it just didn't match the taste a Coq au Vin can have - it was too dull, too superficial, nothing happened....
