So maybe the above reviews got my expectations up too high, or maybe I changed too much in the recipe, but I thought while this was good, it was not extremely good.

I used squid instead of shrimps, because I already had two kilo of cleaned squid waiting for something to do with it, and I used yogurt instead of buttermilk as my husband hates the taste of buttermilk.

The resulting sauces were quite good. I thought the Sriracha dip went best with the squid, but the lemon chive one was good too. The garlic one was good, but trivially so.

I might make this again, but only if I'm too lazy to try out new sauces.

I took one look at southerncooker's review of this recipe and knew it would be tonight's dinner. Just totally yummy. I too made all three dipping sauces ... in about 15 minutes. We grilled the shrimp which took maybe 3-5 minutes total -- sat down with a glass of wine, a napkin and our fingers and proceeded to enjoy the heck out of this dish.

My favorite was the lemon-chive mayo, my husband liked the sriracha, and we both agreed the garlic buttermilk was just fine but not as good as the other two. So I'll be pouring that one over two chicken breasts as a marinade and then grilling it up for tomorrow night's dinner.

I served this with the Spanish-style Tomato Toast [from Saveur, recently reviewed] and they went nicely together. Also a side salad of avocado and grapefruit.

I opted to boil my shrimp and make all three dipping sauces. Boy, I’m sure glad I did. I enjoyed all three sauces, but the lemon chive mayo was my absolute favorite. It went so well with the shrimp, and I bet it’d be great with fish. My second favorite was the garlic buttermilk. Not only was it good on the shrimp, it was also delicious on my baked potato and as a dipping sauce for baby carrots. I liked the sriracha buttermilk dip too, but only after I added a bit more sriracha than the two teaspoons called for. The siracha was hubby’s favorite after adding about triple the amount called for. He loves spice. He also liked the garlic buttermilk, but didn’t care for the lemon chive mayo. These three just got added to my dipping sauce favorites to make again and again.
