Great as the suggested accompaniment to the Morrocan stew on pg 144. I decided to make it at the last minute because I had most of the ingredients in the pantry and the oranges needed eating. I skipped the romaine lettuce and I think the salad was still great. The cumin and olive oil are essential, I tasted it halfway though before I'd added them and it was nothing special, but the cumin and olive oil really pull it together. I probably used less than the 3tbsp of oil in the recipe and used more cumin.

The salad was a hit to go with the stew, I should have made more than 4 serves for the 3 of us it was so popular.
