I also make this recipe often because it is one of my husband's favorite treats. It's also one of the few sweets I make that I will eat past the first day (I don't like treats that aren't super-fresh).

The recipe works well, and is easy to make. I often double or triple the recipe, without issue (besides not having enough room to cook all the macaroons in my oven). This recipe usually ends up being made soon after making ice cream, to use the left-over whites.

I love this recipe and i make it all the time! To save time I make up a supply of ground almond and keep it in my cupboard for this specific recipe. These are the best macaroons I have ever tasted. They come out perfect: crispy on the outside and delictably most on the inside. My only complaint is that they are never enough - they get eaten up in no time around my house! I often double the recipe so that they last a bit longer. They are super easy to make and freeze well too. Can't go wrong with this one!
