A very tasty twist on tomato soup -- nicely garnished with a lime sour cream and cilantro. Cooking time is a little over an hour which allows the flavors to develop beautifully. You can cut the time a smidgen by using jarred roasted pepper but you will get a more robust flavor if you roast your own.

This recipe is part of an article on tomato soups. The article includes a classic tomato soup (which I have not made) and a Creamy Tomato Soup with Basil Coulis (which I have tried and it is delicious).
