Banana Bread

The most moist delicious easy recipe for banana bread i have ever tasted! Folding the bananas in at the very end keeps it so good and moist!

These cookies are exactly as described...CRAVE-WORTHY! These cookies are crispy at the edges, chewy in the center, and loaded with two kinds of chocolate. You WILL want to make more of these and def. take the tip and freeze a second batch...secret method of putting them in the fridge for an hour before cooking (after making batter - the only hard part esp. when cooking with little kids who don't have the most patients/understanding) makes them especially yummy and def. worth the wait...these have gotten RAVE reviews both times i've made them so far! right up there in my book with the neiman-marcus email chocolate chip 'hoax' recipe!

Forever Summer (Style Network's)

By Nigella Lawson
Hyperion - 2003

okay...so i really need to try more of nigella's recipes, but...this is another favorite that i make constantly and we never have enough left for leftovers...even my kids ages 2-9 love it! i saw her make this on oprah and although the recipe is 2 pages long...it's really more description/something interesting to read than directions! after the first time or so making this you will be able to memorize it and nigella herself also claims to make this for her family as her go to meal! super easy and super yummy...just don't skip the marinating time...it really matters to the final outcome!

How to Eat: The Pleasures and Principles of Good Food

By Nigella Lawson
Wiley - 2002

okay....this may sound so not good, but if you think about it...sugar and ham...what is a better way to cook ham! i would buy this book just for this recipe alone (and maybe did) everytime i or my sister-in-law who originally introduced me to this recipe makes this...there is someone who will always ask for the recipe! it is that good! ps...for you diet coke addicts out there...use the real thing!

The Smitten Kitchen Cookbook

By Deb Perelman
Knopf - 2012

This is our new go to snacky dinner...my boys love it with milk shakes!!! All the ingredients are typically in the pantry and not the worst dinner in my opinion! Even the littlest one will eat!

Everyone loves this as well...and my boys call it pizza...another great easy to pull out of the pantry meal! We have only had it with turkey bacon, and worked great! I typically just use the box grater to 'slice' the potatoes as i like them crispy! This is a must try recipe for any busy mom and the ingredients are SO good together!
