Almond Spice Cookies : page 285

Love these even if I wasn't eating "Clean". I like them sliced a bit thicker and they do benefit (like most cookies) from an overnight in the fridge. After they cool they have the texture of smooth peanut butter cookies - soft and slightly chewy.

Broccoli Cheddar Soup : page 244

This is a vegan soup that is homey and delicious. The cheddar flavor comes from nutritional yeast and though it doesn't really seem to cheese-y to me it does give it something reminiscent of cheddar.

Buckwheat Granola : page 42

This was great and I didn't even miss the oats. I think next time I will decrease the coconut nectar and perhaps add more apple. I did not grate my apples I simple threw them in the food processor until they were shredded.
I soaked and dried all my nuts/seeds and the buckwheat groats before hand - if you do this the recipe becomes a 2 day process.

Chicken and Wild Rice Soup : page 242

Really enjoyed this without the strip of kelp. After soaking and sampling the kelp I realized it wouldn't work for our tastes in this particular soup.

Chilled Cucumber and Avocado Soup : page 235

This was better than "good" really but somehow not quite "very good". I will make it again, preparing it with a little more spice - a jalapeño or some spicy salsa garnish.

Clean Energy Bars : page 270

These no-bake, vegan/gluten free bars were pretty tasty. I subbed cashews for pistachios, decreased the coconut nectar by about 2 tablespoons, and sprinkled the slightest bit of salt on top.

Moroccan Lamb Kebabs : page 178

Made these as lamb chops, not kebabs and they were great. Skipped the tzatziki and had garlic-y tahini sauce instead. Served with tabouli salad.
