I make this using the preheated cast iron skillet method, and it is always delicious. When I don't have buttermilk, I make the cornbread using yogurt. The sweet variation is good too.

My go to recipe for whole wheat dinner rolls. This recipe uses 2/3 whole wheat flour and produces 16 wonderfully soft yeasty dinner rolls.
