Tasty treat and a decent way to use up those egg whites. I veered from the recipe a bit as I thought 1) 1/4 cup honey may be a little too much with all that sweet fruit 2) I also made these into bars in an 8x8 pyrex, baking them about 28 minutes at 325. They did not hold together perfectly but that could be because of my revisions.

Used this simple flaky crust for Martha's Strawberry Hand Pies.

Really enjoyed this - simple and tasty. I used nectarines (unpeeled) and a mix of berries (blue/black/raspberry). I wanted a thicker layer of fruit so I put it in a smaller glass casserole and used less of the topping. The juices get thick and deliciously syrupy and will bubble over if the sides of your pan aren't high enough- don't skip the sheet pan underneath. My topping was slightly dry and I had to add a couple extra tablespoons of cream. Baked in 55 minutes.

This was delicious! I did keep it in the oven a bit longer since I like my roasted cauliflower well browned. I may add a tiny bit more spice next time.

These little pies have a nice flaky crust, and a delicious, not too sweet filling (I used strawberries and a few cherries). The trickiest part is getting them put together quickly and well sealed.
