An easy and delicious soup. I used lardons for the meat. We were thinking that chicken sausages would be good, saucisse de volaille or merguez de volaille, cut in quarters lenghtwise, then into little wedges. Might be nice to add some red pepper flakes...

Grilled Swordfish Steaks, Sicilian Salmoriglio Style reviewed by kateq

What perhaps I love most about Italian food--such respect for the ingredients. Here the swordfish is grilled and then dressed with salmoriglio--lemon oil salt and herbs. But it's perfect--the simple dressing makes the swordfish sing.

A classic version indeed--and all with pantry ingredients. I double the recipe and leave out the butter at the end till I've ladled out the freezer portions. I find it benefits from a bit of spicing up.
