Sweet and just a tiny bit tart/tangy. Easy to make, sets beautifully. I think it's good on bread or on poultry.

The French Slow Cooker
By Michele Scicolone
Houghton Mifflin Harcourt - 2012
I found this to be a bit greasy and really rich...the taste was still ok, but not as good as I usually find Scicolone's to be.

This is a great chili, the hominy is a fun addition. I would definitely make this again.

I have the e-book and so have no idea what the actual page number is for this recipe.
I don't normally care for Brownies (or fudge) but I made this anyway. It's delicious. Very rich and gooey but still crisp on the top. The sea salt is a definite must, but I like it both with and without the chile.

I don't have the page number since I use an e-book edition.
This is surprisingly delicious! Next time I'll add one more egg since it was a bit too runny for me...I like a dry sandwich (even egg salad!) but the flavors were amazing. A little bit of arugula is a great addition.

I loved the flavor combination of Prosciutto and arugula. My "crust" did turn out a bit soggy in the center, but that might have been the fault of the tomato. I would make this again.
