Her recipes are good down home recipes and her pictures! Her pictures are WONDERFUL! And how fun to see my favorite food bloggers visit each other. Several have been to 'the ranch' and it is doubly fun to read about their adventures.

We made Cosmopolitan Jelly Shots the first thing. We needed something one layer and easy since we didn't really have much time and were excited about trying it out. We need to perfect our technique but we are very anxious to try.
Totally fun party book - but be careful - these things are potent!

I just received this book on Wed and have cooked 5 recipes from it already (it is Sun) and there are so many more I would like to make. They all just sound wonderful. I agree with the previous reviewer that these are not the healthiest recipes. I usually make them according to recipe the first time and then modify to more fit our eating style.
